We all should be familiar with Instagram as this point in time. If not then you need to get familiar with it like yesterday lol. These two statements should be enough to motivate you to get on your hash-tagging A-Game! It is important to tag EVERY photo you post on Instagram if you want to connect with your target audience! Hash-tagging photos allows other to find you and allows you to find them! Once a person sees your hash-tagged photo, they'll more than likely check out your profile, like more of your photos, and probably follow you! This is what we want! We want to connect with like-minded individuals in our niche or people who like what we are doing! (My next post will be on tagging Brands effectively on Instagram so check back!)
Chances are, that if a person clicks your profile and you have a link in your bio, they're going to click that link! So always make sure you are linking back to the website that you want to gain traffic & please make sure that your link is working properly. Nothing worse than a broken link because you just wasted that person's time & they won't be back to your site!
This is all a strategy! This is a strategy that works if implemented properly! Don't just tag your photos with anything, be very specific with your hash-tags and make sure that they are relevant to what your actually posting!
