Happy to be back writing this blog post in the midst of everything happening in our world today!

Soooo I took a trip down to Destin, FL and I am here to share with you where I stayed and what I did on this amazing, fun-filled trip! Let's jump into it.

I stayed at The Island Hotel by RL which is more like a resort because it soooo many amenities included here and did I say its beachside?? Yes, it's beachside! I absolutely enjoyed my entire stay. I was supposed to only stay for 2 nights but I enjoyed my stay so much that I booked another day in paradise! I booked my room through expedia.com and they were all sold out of the ocean view so I chose the pool view instead and wasn't disappointed. I had the view of The Grotto, which is The Island's swim-up pool bar. Yassssss! So they have ocean view, pool view, pool-side rooms, courtyard view rooms, and more! Seriously, there are so many options to choose from. So they have 2 pool, a hot tub, a swim-in pool bar, and there was a DJ everyday pool-side my entire stay. No, the music wasn't boring either lol. So they had three bars that I could count. The Grotto, the bar in the restaurant area, and the bar beachside which was a place I hung out at often! They have 2 restaurants. I tried both and both were tasty. I had the shrimp with cocktail sauce, buffalo wings, pizza, caesar salad, rice & beans, and nachos! I am definitely a foodie.

As soon as i settled in my room, I dolled up and left for the Grotto! This was the first step as I was excited to check out the swim-up bar and have a sip!
